Our UK Team

We have a dedicated UK team which is committed to supporting the work of Tehila in Zambia.  The primary role of this team is to offer support: practically, emotionally and spiritually. Our UK team focusses on raising awareness for the work of Tehila. Activities are promoted on our various social media platforms. Prayer is at the centre of all we do and as a team we are excited and humbled by how God responds.

Trustees

Juliet

Juliet believes in a diverse approach to learning and impacting on society and is passionate about working with vulnerable people. Her skills include research, project management, strategic planning, communication, public speaking, training/ capacity building and mentorship.

Penny Lander

Has experience in strategic planning and organisation within church leadership, and currently volunteers in social justice projects in the local community.

Sam Fairs-Billam

Co-founder and lead fundraiser for Tehila.  After 10 amazing years living in Zambia he re-located to the UK in 2021, now dividing his time between both countries.  He is also a social entrepreneur, developing and supporting businesses which fund the valuable work of Tehila.  He is married to Hannah (the other Tehila co-founder) and they have 3 beautiful daughters.

Chris Dodwell

A contract accountant of many years’ experience, he has been a member of Kerith Community Church since the 1990’s. Working with children in a church environment and a family connection with Zambia has led to a keen interest in supporting Tehila
